A 20pg photo-study on using pigs for land management on the Dunlossit estate on the island of Islay in Scotland. Uses colour photographs to chart the effects of grazing with pigs on a variety of habitats including heather moorland, woodland, and former rape fields, with particular reference to the use of pigs to control bracken encroachment. GAP & Flora Locale Pigs for Land Management Workshop Proceedings 2009

This workshop discussed the use of pigs for land management and was held at the Wyre Forest, Bewdley in 2009 where a pilot project using pigs is being undertaken by the Grow with Wyre Landscape Partnership Scheme. The workshop is running again this year in October, please see the training page of the website for more details.
